Judy Coder is Kansas’ native songcatcher, a vocalist of the highest order, bringing songs and stories to life through her rich voice. She can sing comfortably in any style, but is particularly recognized in the field of western/americana music. She is classically trained and meticulous, and her performances are unforgettable.
Judy enjoys frequent performance tours throughout the United States and Europe, adding new songs and stories to her collection as she goes. Her programs reflect her eclectic tastes, and usually include a healthy dose of her award-winning yodeling.
She researches her own historical presentations, and is featured in print and in film. When she is home, Judy teaches instrumental and vocal music, and is a founder of the Kansas Youth Chorale; she is a promoter, producer and manager, and a composer of choral music.
