Judy Coder's Family - Sarah

Hello, I am Judy’s daughter Sarah Hart. Allow me to tell you a little bit about myself. I am a graduate of Washburn University’s Nursing school. As an RN with a bachelor in nursing, I am working in Missouri at the University Hospital on the oncology/surgical unit. Nursing is such a rewarding career. I recently moved to Missouri after my wedding on January 2, 2010. I married my high school sweet heart from Shawnee Heights. My husband, Ryan Hart, is currently a law student at the University of Missouri. Now I can settle into married life, enjoy my new job, and feel what it is like to not be a poor student.

I am a trombone player for the Kansas National Guard. I have had such a great experience with my fellow guardsmen and look forward to enjoying many more years in the guard. I am also an active member of Sigma Alpha Iota, International Music Fraternity for women. Both my mom and grandmother (my mom's mom) are members of the same fraternity which makes it 3 generations- FUN!
It is so much fun to be able to tell people that my mom yodels for a living, and I especially love traveling to her performances around the world.

Probably the best thing Mom and I ever did together, took place on January 18, 2009 in Phoenix, AZ. We ran a marathon, and raised around $8.000 for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society through Team in Training. It was an unforgettable experience, and after some confusion in the beginning, we raced together every mile of the way.
