LEARNING
________
Residencies
As a composer of choral music, Judy Coder offers school, community, and church choral groups a unique opportunity to connect and learn. Residencies can be an intensive weekend at church, a week at school, or several visits spread over a year or more. The focus can be on new commissioned works or on existing repertoire.
________
Master Classes
Judy Coder is a world-class musician with real-world experience and a background in education. She offers workshops and master classes for every audience. For non-musicians, her historical programs describe the music and lore of America's westward expansion. Her dynamic workshops for musicians cover a variety of topics, including “Success in the Music Business”, “Health Topics for Musicians”, as well as composition/arranging, harmony singing and of course, yodeling. She is particularly skilled in working with high school choral groups, in one-hour/one-day workshops or extended residencies.
________
Private Sessions
Sometimes we know the sound we want, we just don't know how to get there. Lessons hold the keys to success, regardless of preferences in musical style. Judy Coder's unique performance background allows her to work one-on-one with students in a wide variety of approaches, from classical arias to cowboy yodeling, helping you with school competitions, scholarship auditions and public performances of all sorts. Regular lessons can mold these situations into golden musical opportunities for growth and learning, to help you get what you want out of your instrument.
Private sessions are available online via Zoom or by arrangement.
